The Great Flood

តាំងពីជំនាន់អ័ដាម និងអេវ៉ា ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានប្រទានពរដល់រាស្ត្ររបស់ទ្រង់ដើម្បីឱ្យចំនួនពួកគេកាន់តែច្រើនឡើងៗ។ មានតែលោកណូអេម្នាក់ប៉ុណ្ណោះ ជាមនុស្សសុចរិត ប៉ុន្តែ មនុស្សនៅលើផែនដី គឺសុទ្ធតែមានចិត្តគំនិតអាក្រក់ជានិច្ច។ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់មានបន្ទូលប្រាប់ទៅណូអេថា ទ្រង់នឹងបញ្ជូនមហាទឹកជំនន់ដ៏ធំ

បំផុតមកលើផែនដី គឺ៤០យប់ ៤០ថ្ងៃ ដើម្បីបំផ្លាញមនុស្សទាំងអស់ ដោយព្រោះអំពើបាបរបស់ពួកគេ។ ព្រះចង់សង្គ្រោះណូអេ និងក្រុមគ្រួសាររបស់គាត់ឱ្យរួចផុតពីមហាទឹកជំនន់។ ព្រះបានប្រាប់ណូអេឱ្យសង់ទូកធំមួយ (១២០ឆ្នាំ)។ ដោយព្រោះណូអេបានធ្វើតាម និងទុកចិត្តព្រះ នោះព្រះបានសង្គ្រោះគាត់ និងក្រុមគ្រួសារពីសេចក្ដីស្លាប់ពីទឹកជំនន់ធំ។

From the time of Adam and Eve, God blessed His people so that their population grew and grew. Only Noah was righteous, but all the people on Earth had become very evil. God told Noah that He was going to send a huge flood for 40 days and 40 nights upon the Earth to destroy all the people because of all the evil in the world. God wanted to save Noah and his family from the deadly flood waters. God told Noah to build a giant ark (which took 120 years!). Because Noah followed and trusted God, God rescued him and his family from death in the flood.
